Nearly 12 months ago, LMP's Jon Moller put out the call - help him raise enough money for JDRF Australia and he would don a parachute and jump out of a plane!
Well we are delighted to report that not only did he raise enough to meet the challenge....he raised so much that he was able to convince his wife Rose to join him!
And the verdict? Well....here it is in Jon's own words.....
WELL !!!!!
Finally – after three previous attempts Rose and I finally managed to jump from a perfectly good plane into the unknown.
WE SURVIVED !! and LOVED IT !! (so much so Rose wants to book us in again !!)
To all those who kindly (or with other intentions?) donated to the JDRF to make sure I had to skydive, thanks, we raised well over the $3,000 mark which is fantastic.
And to top it off, Rose and I got the experience of a lifetime, even more special as we were able to share it together.
